I DO NOT ACCEPT PRAISE FROM MEN

Certainly there are many ups and downs in our Christian walk. Sometimes we don't even know where we stand. Some are honest and admit to it, and others prefer to continue the facade and the lies, even though they have nothing inside. What are we afraid of? Or...Who are we afraid of? Isn't this about being in peace with God? What does it matter if we lose our reputation of strength and faith? But it matters, doesn't it? It is important to keep the "image" of super christians or we are literally done. People will look at us and say, "poor thing, he/she lost it".  In the meantime, we are dying inside, not being able to confide in others, because we don't want to create doubt in anybody; because the truth is, we DO make sense in the midst of the struggle. Boy, do we get tired of those that look down on us when we are at our weakest. That is why we continue to press on, perpetuating a image of strength that has been long gone, just to help others out of their own desperation pit.  Let's face it, we can't do that if they don't trust us.  Christians rather be prayed by those who give the impression of being strong and "spiritual" than go to their everyday christian man or woman that has used every bit of strength to keep believing regardless of their weaknesses.

Men following men. It happened in Jesus' time and continues today. Men giving glory to each other; again then and certainly now; ministers walking around in their expensive suits thinking they are all that, with their own little cliques. But isn't that the ways of the world? In John 5:41, 42, 44, Jesus said "I do not accept praise from men, but I know you....How can you believe if you accept praise from one another, yet make no effort to obtain the praise that comes from the only God? When someone truly believes in God, the first and foremost desire is to please God. It doesn't matter what type of service you are providing, it is important that we keep our place.

Hello and WELCOME to Dr. Corona's Webpage!

(You can make the font bigger or smaller by clicking on the above far right icons A+, A-)

It is with much pleasure and excitement that I open this WebPage to the public.  There are times when you want to do something for the longest time and nothing seems to fall into place; obstacles left and right, the energy level going up and down, etc., and through all this, wondering whether you are crazy or sane.  Then it "hits" you...and all of a sudden it feels like you are coming out of a fog and everything seems right. You meet the right people (or they've been around all along), your skills and talents are put "into drive", your motivation is up, and before you know it, your dreams are coming true and you have become a TRUE disciple of Christ.

I hope you are reading between the lines, and realize that if you wait until EVERYTHING is perfect to do something, then you are up for a rude awakening or a major waste of time.  Please, listen to what I have to say because, believe me, EXPERIENCE does count for something.

WHO can brag about knowing the mind of God, or HOW does He works, WHAT is he thinking, or WHEN is He going to use His power?

I’ve been through many difficult times in my life, as you all probably have, and I have wondered...?  Where is God, why doesn’t He come to my rescue, why doesn’t He answer?  I used to feel guilty for thinking that way, but when I go to the Bible, I realize that I am not the first to ask these questions and certainly will not be the last.

Let's think about this...Are we going to love Him when things go right, but not in the middle of problems and disappointments?  You could.   Is it wise to question Him? Other biblical characters have.  Why can't I?  What does He wants from us?

Are we supposed to have the “gift of patience” and/or the “gift of faith” to be successful…to get God’s attention?

Is everything that we hear in church correct?

The purpose of this site is to hopefully open some eyes that will enable Christians and people in general to SEE that the God they know or hear about  IS NOT the “child abuser, murderer, sadistic, catastrophic disasters” God that people AND Christians so emphatically present either consciously or unconsciously.

HE IS NOT the God that “allows” people to suffer to fulfill some “unknown” plan for our lives, AND right know I’m getting ahead of myself. Too much said in this Pre-Intro.

Let me say this one last thing in this section....I don't need any famous, popular evangelist, pastor, or otherwise well-known Christian vouching for me, BUT only the deep, spiritual scars of battle, the marks of suffering and pain, AND the everyday victories as well, that only come from a life of simply believing in God.  Like Paul said: "Finally, let no one cause me trouble, for I bear on my body [and mind] the marks of Jesus." (Galatians 6:17 NIV).

Please, follow me into this journey of discovery as we try to understand our doubts, confusion, desperation, hopelessness, uncertainty, AND vicious rumors and teachings about God...things that take away from us, whatever little strength and faith we have left.
