For many years I thought I was free. After all, I was saved. I was so blind thinking that everything was going to be fine, that I forgot (or maybe wasn’t taught) that I was also supposed to hold my own. Things do not get nice and great just because you accept Jesus as your Savior. The saga only begins then.
As a matter of fact, even though the desire of your heart is to do good, you soon find out that you cannot carry it out because, according to the Apostle Paul, you find the “law of sin at work in the members of your body; a waging war against your mind, against what’s spiritual, against what’s good... a war that makes you a prisoner and a slave of everything that you hate” (Romans 7:18-23 NIV).
But there are always two sides to everything, isn’t it?...and in this site, I want to address the practical side of salvation; the part where you can overcome the acts of the flesh, the part where you are free and victorious, the part where you can enjoy your relationship with God without guilt and condemnation, and be able to live a life that fits into the realm of the spirit; a life that should come as natural as the air that you breathe.
So here it goes; let’s embark together in this new journey; a journey that will lead us into the kind of life that God intended for us since the beginning of time.
